Founded in 2000 by "2004 Man Of The Year" James E Stewart Jr, with J D Montgomery, Vice President and Ladies Auxiliary President Gene Lawrence.

Through our commitment, experience, and expertise MONTFORD POINT MARINES 28 has established a relationship with our Community that will last a lifetime!

The Maryland Montford Point Marine Association #28 is a nonprofit Veteran's organization, Established to Perpetuate the legacy of the First African Americans who entered the United States Marine Corps from 1942 to 1949.

All branches of the U. S. Military past or present are welcome regardless of race, creeds, or national origin.

Membership in the Ladies Auxiliary is open to wives, daughters, sisters, and mothers of members of the U. S. Military past or present.

The purpose of the Association is voluntary participation in, support, and promotion of community services, for improving social conditions of our veterans, families, youth and the growing population of senior citizens.

Search Panel How does it work? When a vistor goes to our site they will see our "search panel" and use it to specify word(s) they are looking for. When they do this the request is sent directly to the FreeFind Servers which determine which pages of our site contain the desired words. We then display a list of those page so the user can choose one.
